On a white-silk support: the silk is clean and faintly warm, with delicate thread-like textures and a slight silk sheen. The ink tones and pale colors sink into the silk fibers; wet ink blurs, permeates, and soaks in. The figures emerge from the ink atmosphere. Use heavy ink, scorched ink, aged ink, and accumulated ink to establish the primary ink form. The ink is dense, rich, and glossy; form is created in a few strokes. Ink blocks shape the body; calligraphic dragging strokes. The main figure of the clothing must not exceed three strokes. A single continuous ink flow runs through the entire body. Sleeves, skirt hems, and long hair are drawn out from one continuous segment of wet ink. The brush may pause, but the intent does not; the form does not; the ink path does not.
